My brain has never once had a useful thought in the shower. Not a business idea, not a reminder to buy shampoo, just a full spiral about whether fish can see water while the conditioner sits there doing nothing. I have the attention span of a moth and a working hot water heater, which is a dangerous combination. These funny shower thoughts prove I’m not alone, and honestly, the English language is the real villain here.

The fish are not taking questions at this time.

Both. The answer is both, and I'm tired.

English is a prank somebody started and then left the party. Read and lead rhyme until they don’t, Sean and Dean refuse to cooperate, and apparently you only need P and A to spell panda, which I checked out loud like a lunatic. I have failed spelling tests for less. These are the funny observations that make me want to file a complaint with whoever is in charge of words.
The rest are funny questions that should not keep a grown adult up at night, and yet. How high does a bald guy wash his face? Who explained sarcasm to the first person who heard it? I have lost entire Tuesdays to stuff like this, and my overthinking memes folder is basically a medical chart now.
Shower thoughts are what happens when your brain finally gets five minutes without a phone and immediately panics. There’s something sweet in that, though. We all walk around acting like we have it figured out, and then the hot water asks why chocolate milk and milk chocolate are both allowed. Nobody has it figured out. That’s weirdly comforting.
The water is cold. The shampoo is untouched. The panda is spelled.
If your brain is still dripping after that, 17 Funny Shower Thoughts That Showed Up Uninvited While I Was Rinsing and Funny Shower Thoughts Start With Shampoo and End With an Existential Crisis are both waiting, and Thoughtful Graffiti Says More in Six Words Than My Last Three Performance Reviews scratches the same itch.
