Everybody has a few old posts living in their head with no plans to move out. Mine include a waiter’s story about Ludacris sending back spring rolls, which I think about more often than my own retirement. That is the whole idea behind these classic memes: every afternoon I dig up the old stuff that refused to leave. If you missed yesterday’s trip through the vault, it is still open, and here are 25 more.

Fluffy white rabbit called the ideal male body, one of the great classic memes.

Still the goal, honestly.

Dad waited his whole life for that one.

Smug cat at a dinner table, classic memes proof of being the good example.

The face of the golden child.

Some of these old memes have been in my camera roll longer than some of my friends have been in my life, and I am not apologizing for that. The best memes never needed much context, just a smug cat, a very round rabbit and a dad who waited his whole life to make a rock joke. I still read viral tweets like the Skyrim challenge run out loud, word for word, to people who did not ask. Nobody in my house reacts anymore, which only makes me read them louder.

The next dig through the vault lands tomorrow afternoon, right around the time your brain clocks out for the day. If you need something fresher before then, yesterday’s meme dump is full of newer nonsense, and Monday’s batch has a few more vintage memes worth a second look on your way out. Hit share and quietly pass this along to the friend who still quotes the same three tweets from 2014, because they will love it even if they pretend not to.
