Every generation invents a new way to complain about Monday and then acts like it was their idea. This fall the internet dug a ten-year-old movie line back up and turned it into a growl about Mondays, which proves no complaint ever truly retires. These classic memes are the same deal, recycled and still working, and yesterday’s dig through the vault is still up. Grr, and enjoy.

Some of these old memes have been around long enough to qualify for a pension, a nice watch and a sheet cake in the break room. The witch who cursed the house and simply walked away is my exact energy every time I leave a group chat. I also recognize the tweet about screen time since 2007, because mine started around then too and nobody has stopped me yet. The viral tweets about Wisconsin and a guy on the phone with a broom are the best memes for anyone pretending to work this afternoon.

Tuesday afternoon brings another round of vintage memes, same time, same dusty vault, same guy blowing the cobwebs off. If you need something fresher before then, yesterday’s meme dump is right there, and an older stack of classics is still living rent free in my head.
