Every kid had one stuffed animal that went everywhere, from the car to the dentist to the bottom of the laundry basket. A Pikachu plush just got a video tour of the International Space Station, which is a lot farther than my bear ever made it. I dig up classic memes every afternoon, and yesterday’s batch of oldies is right here too. Strap in for a lower orbit.

Weekend plans: fully booked, emotionally.

Pumpkin spice has a cost, and here it is.

Four reviews and somehow 4.8 stars.

Hydration, but make it heart palpitations.

It is just stuff, and the hamster agrees.

Same face, every other Friday.

Unsupervised dial-up hours were a different era.

Get well soon, you absolute genius.

Landlord said the walls were thin. He did not say this.
Some of these old memes are older than my car, and my car makes a noise now. The pumpkin one scared me off lattes for about forty minutes, which is a personal record. I also recognize the kid with his feet up next to the beige computer, because that was me, minus the good sneakers and plus a mom who knew exactly how browser history worked. The viral tweets about falling down in public are basically my medical chart at this point, and my knees have read every word.
Tomorrow afternoon brings more of the best memes from the archive, right on schedule, dust and all. Until then, yesterday’s meme dump is still up, and an older stack of vintage memes hits like a rerun you know by heart. Pass this along to the friend who still keeps their childhood stuffed animal in a closet somewhere, because we both know they do, and hit the share buttons below while you are at it. The bear would want you to.

Me looking at my pay cheque and realising that every single part of my life relies on services and infrastructure provided by the government and a nominal tax rate is the only way that those things can feasibly be afforded.
If you don’t want to pay taxes you cannot partake in any part of society. All goods are delivered by road, rail, ship, or plane that all rely on national, regional, and municipal infrastructure.
Electricity generation, sewage treatment, water provision, and garbage collection is paid for at least in part by your taxes.
If you don’t want to pay, piss off into the wilds ON FOOT and NAKED.
