Every October I swear I will plan my Halloween costume early, and every October I end up texting the group chat on the 30th asking if anyone owns cat ears. Until then, I am hiding in this meme dump, a fresh batch of 25 that lands every day around lunch. If you missed yesterday’s batch, go back for it after. This one ends with a man dressed as a pumpkin, so the bar is set.

Costume budget: one pumpkin, one marker, zero shame.

I will be honest, the costume ideas in here are better than anything I have come up with since 2019, and one of them is just a pumpkin and a marker. Between the long-legged cat, the doorbell deer and a tiramisu shaped like a wave, this batch of funny memes covers most of my emotional range. The bear in the grocery store is me, by the way: I wrote the list, and it is on the fridge.

Another round of hilarious memes and funny pictures lands tomorrow at noon, same as always, whether or not I have a costume by then. If that is too long to wait, yesterday’s classic memes are old on purpose and aging fine, and last Thursday’s meme dump is still the place to go if you own a CD wallet. Send this batch to the friend who also waits until October 30 to figure out a costume, and make sure they know where you found it.
