Every house has one drawer of old batteries and mystery keys that nobody is allowed to clean out. A carpenter in Nova Scotia just found a wallet under some old floorboards that had been missing since 1975, theater ticket included. Every afternoon I pry up the floorboards of the internet for classic memes, and yesterday’s trip through the classics is still up too. These held up better than that dollar bill.

Nothing has felt that good since, and the fellas know it.

Step five is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Googled it twice. Still unsure.

Hydrating the shame away.

Every introvert's soul leaving the body.

Interactive exhibit, apparently.

One playlist. Four hundred hours. No regrets.

Fourth gear in the cereal aisle.

Feeling down has never sounded so tempting.
Some of these old memes are older than my current phone charger, which in internet years makes them antiques. The LAN party one hit hardest, because I once carried a CRT monitor down two flights of stairs for a sleepover and called it a good weekend. The viral tweets about hotel buffets and one giant playlist are basically my autobiography in two chapters. I would also like to formally apologize to the vegetables in my freezer, who have been waiting patiently since spring and deserve better.
Tomorrow afternoon brings another round of the best memes from the vault, same time, same dusty shelf, same guy blowing the dust off. If you want something fresher in the meantime, yesterday’s meme dump is still sitting right there, and an older dig through vintage memes still lives rent free in my head. Send this to the friend who was at that LAN party with you, remind them who actually won, and use the share buttons below so the rest of the old crew finds it too.
