The sun now sets somewhere around my afternoon coffee, which means my whole evening is over by 5:15. I am fighting the darkness with this Monday meme dump, the same way I fight everything, which is sitting down. If you’re new, a fresh batch lands here every day at lunch, and yesterday’s batch is still around if you missed it. Consider this your daylight.

I'm on look number six and it's still one dog.

I’ll admit the salsa jar full of ice water got me, mostly because I own a forty dollar water bottle that I use to hold pens. The rest of these funny memes hold up too: a dog who is somehow three dogs, a very hot fridge, and a haunted house hero who did not think his plan all the way through. The Google Maps lowball offer is also the most honest negotiation I’ve been part of all year. Hilarious memes are cheaper than a sunlamp and work about as well.
The next batch lands tomorrow at noon, and I’ll be the guy eating lunch at my desk with the blinds wide open, soaking up whatever light is left. If you need something to get you to quitting time, yesterday’s classic memes are the internet’s old photo album, and Friday’s lunch hour meme dump has a few funny pictures I still think about. If any of this got a laugh out of you, send it to the friend who keeps texting you about how dark it is at 5, using the share buttons right down there.
