Four in the afternoon used to mean the backpack hit the floor, a sleeve of crackers came out, and the TV stayed on cartoons until somebody yelled about homework. I still feel that hour in my bones, but I spend it in meetings now. So every afternoon I dig up classic memes instead, and yesterday’s trip through the vault is there if you missed it. Grab a snack and settle in.

Somewhere in there is my signature from a field trip in 2003.
SaveSome of these old memes have been around longer than my current phone charger, and they still beat most of what I see now. Half the viral tweets in here describe my week better than my calendar does. I was the kid who watched the same episode three times rather than start my homework, and I have not changed much. Somewhere around the toe thumb, I accepted that the best memes never really retire, much like King Kai’s car on a planet you could walk around before lunch.
Tomorrow afternoon brings another dig through the vintage memes, right around the time the cartoons used to start. If you need more before then, yesterday’s meme dump has plenty for the people who worked through the holiday, and Sunday’s classics are there for a slower scroll. Share this with whoever used to fight you for the remote, and tell them the snacks are on them this time.
