We’re looking to expand our team here and Thunder Dungeon and we think some of you beautiful Thunderican’s might be perfect for a new project we’re working on.

Since you’ve been around long enough, you know our goal has always been to try and use our platform to help people who love memes to make money. Unfortunately this is usually much harder than it should be.

Our biggest problem around the office is time (we personally just don’t have enough). We’re at capacity with the website, the app, our main pages and life in general. While we initially thought of posting for jobs, we realized we have a large pool of  people who are incredibly good at posting memes which is a very odd skill set to find out in the wild.

So we wanted to offer it to you first. We’re still hashing out the details, but the specifics are below.

The Job:

We’re looking for people who want to manage, post and grow our niche meme pages and in return own a percentage of any profits the pages generate. You already know how to find and post memes, so that is essentially the whole role. Additionally, it would just be reviewing analytics, responding to comments and growing the pages and a few meetings with us to offer any help we can along the way.

The Challenges: 

Content Moderation: Obviously facebook (sorry, Meta) is a pain when it comes to what they like to organically promote, so there would be some level of moderation of what content is appropriate for what page. We’ve been doing this for years and we’d be giving you a hand with reviewing a content plan and letting you know exactly what would cause issues for any page.

Growth: The goal is to grow everything as quickly as possible, but it’s hard to grow new meme pages. Luckily we’ve spent the last decade navigating this and building our main pages. For the niche pages we will be cross promoting across our channels and helping them grow in any way that we can for the success of everyone.

Time Management: Meta loves pages that post things live and interact with their followers. That’s really the most time consuming part. Over time you get big spikes in performance and some weeks it’s less than others. Everyone’s constantly battling the algorithm, but it can be done with effort and time. Eventually things go viral and that’s when it’s worth it.

The Payoff: 

You get to own a % of all profits generated from the page(s). All legal details would be hammered out before you start, but essentially you would own a % of all income generated from the page(s). There’s no overhead in running a meme page, so whatever the channels generate you would get a fixed %. The more it makes, the more you make. We’re firm believers in us personally having a smaller % of a big pie than us owning bigger % of a smaller pie. It’s an investment in the future for us.
