Some people collect stamps. The folks in this gallery collect pizza pajamas, pizza pillows, and pizza phone cases, and I find that deeply inspiring in a way my therapist would like to discuss. There’s a level of commitment here that most food memes never reach. I own one pizza shirt, it has a grease stain shaped like Ohio, and I wear it like a confession.

Then there’s the pizza art crowd, who looked at the pyramids and a famous melting clock painting and decided both needed pepperoni. They’re not wrong. My favorite corner is the giant pizza contingent, the record-breaking pies laid out like a highway, because somewhere a person had to carry the leftovers home, and I want to hear that story.

Pizza gets me because it’s the food of every good night I can remember: moving days, birthday parties, the 1 a.m. slice that tasted like a decision. Nobody eats pizza alone and feels fully alone, because the box keeps you company and the leftovers keep you honest the next morning. These are just love letters with cheese on them.
