Every fifth of November, somebody who has never set foot in England types “remember, remember” and feels like a hacker. Back when the Guy Fawkes mask was every third forum avatar, I had one too, right above a signature in glitter text. This is the daily dig through classic memes, served every afternoon, and yesterday’s trip through the vault is still open. Here’s what the old internet left on the curb.

Same scream, every first of the month.

Prequel memes never left. We just got older.

Every single time.
SaveSome of these old memes are older than the phone you are reading them on, and they still beat most of what I scrolled past at lunch. Of all the best memes about phone scams, the Morpheus one wins, and I say that as someone who once nearly bought gift cards because an email said my boss was stuck in a meeting. The prequel memes refuse to die, and honestly, neither do my opinions about them. Squidward at 3am is less a meme and more a medical chart.
Another round of vintage memes and viral tweets shows up tomorrow afternoon, and the lunch batch lands a few hours before that. I will be refreshing the page like it is 2007 and the dial-up might finally connect. If you need more right now, yesterday’s meme dump is still sitting there, and so are the classics from back when the VCR clock blinked all winter. Pass this to the friend who still says epic fail without a trace of irony, because they deserve to feel seen.

Who needs to see this?
Send it to the friend who’ll laugh the hardest, or post it for everyone.
