Every October I carry one pumpkin to the porch like I grew it myself, then watch it slowly sag until Thanksgiving. Meanwhile a grower in England just beat his own world record with a 2,856-pound pumpkin, and mine is losing a fight with gravity. A fresh batch lands here every day at lunch, weekends included, and yesterday’s meme dump is still up if you missed it. Here is the harvest.

Payday to Tuesday, in one cat.

I came for the funny memes and stayed for a guinea pig dressed as a bee, which is an accurate summary of my Saturday so far. The dream job one got me, because I have also stood next to a field and thought the cows seem to have it all figured out. My big weekend plan is checking the weather app like it owes me money and calling that a hobby. Somewhere in there a hamster lives in a nicer building than I do, with better lighting, and I am choosing not to think about it.

The next round of hilarious memes and funny pictures shows up tomorrow at noon, because the internet does not take Sundays off and, sadly, neither do I. Until then, yesterday’s classic memes are a good way to feel old on purpose, and a Tuesday batch from earlier this week still holds up better than my knees. If anything in here made you snort coffee, hit the share buttons below so somebody else’s Saturday gets a little dumber too. They will thank you eventually, probably.
