Fall means bonfires, and bonfires mean the smoke follows you to every chair like it has a personal grudge. The crying Michael Jordan face has been the internet’s official look for losing for over a decade, and putting him at a campfire is the most honest thing I have seen in weeks. If you caught yesterday’s trip through the classics, you know the deal: an afternoon dig through classic memes we refuse to let go. Pull up a log.

I recognized almost every one of these on the first scroll, which is either a sign of a well spent youth or a badly spent adulthood. The crow of judgement still lives in my head every time I order a pizza with substitutions. I also still think of the 12 and a half speed limit sign whenever I go one over on purpose, which is the most dangerous thing I do. Old memes like these stick around because nobody ever topped them, and a few of the viral tweets in here have outlived the apps they were posted on.

Another dig through the vault lands tomorrow afternoon, and if you want something fresher, yesterday’s meme dump is still sitting there with its lunch. Sunday’s classic memes are worth a second look too, especially if you like your best memes with a little dust on them. If one of these took you straight back to a dorm room or a cubicle, pass it along with the share buttons below so someone else gets the same trip down memory lane.
