Around 2014, an online personality quiz told me I was an introvert, and I have used that result to leave every party early since. Every afternoon I dig up classic memes from the good old days of the internet, and yesterday’s trip through the vault is still there if you missed it. Several of today’s picks understand me on a spiritual level. Find a quiet corner and scroll.

Mac from It's Always Sunny in a purple windbreaker, arms crossed, ready for 65 degrees.

65 degrees and he is dressed for a ski lodge.

Drive stick joke from the classic memes vault, a hand gripping butter by the gearshift.
Aragorn turning to charge into battle with the words For Money, like going to work.

Most honest battle cry in cinema.

Tom Hardy giving an intense stare like someone is about to touch his charging phone.
Introvert party starter pack from the classic memes pile: hoodie, red cup, phone, cat.
Wide-eyed purple cartoon character relieved that every credit card charge was actually theirs.

The rarest feeling in personal finance.

Dog beside a gramophone in the snow, in a photo dated to a 1911 expedition.
Classic memes rant from a woman pinching her nose: onions do not come in cups.
Michael Myers watching from a window when someone uses the driveway to turn around.

Neighborhood watch, advanced level.

Phone note reading a snake walks into a bar and the bartender asks how.
Take a rock, leave a rock box full of stones, an all-time classic memes find.
Tweet about calling a man on dad's laptop a nerd during a live Zoom call.
Chucky doll browsing a shelf of doll heads, picking a personality for the day.

Going with unhinged but polite today.

Classic memes tweet from a hot dog brand: don't put words in my mouth.
Masked wrestler bursting through a wall like a big toe through a sock hole.
Tweet about a late student telling a professor there were more stairs than usual.

Honestly, a fair point about stairs.

Classic memes Facebook fail: asking how to delete a post right above an awkward search.
Evelyn from The Mummy declaring I am a librarian about a camera roll of memes.
JoJo video game dialogue used as a boyfriend's answer to plans for tonight.
Classic memes screenshot of a spam text that only says your presence still lingers.

Spam texts got poetic and I am not okay.

Drummer knitting behind his kit, captioned as Led Zeppelin's drummer during Stairway to Heaven.
Cartoon of a deer being dragged by its legs, like an introvert pulled to parties.

Me, every Friday, every year.

Classic memes Tumblr thread joking that every Star Wars bounty hunter is just networking.
Patrick Stewart lounging with a book, saying all he requires is sun and being alone.

My whole personality since 2014.

Bulldog wearing a carved pumpkin helmet like Magneto, a classic memes closer for October.

I will admit the deer being dragged across the lawn is basically a documentary about my last birthday party. Some of the best memes in this batch are the quiet ones, like the take a rock, leave a rock box, which is either a beautiful act of community or the laziest neighborhood project ever built. I also checked my own credit card statement after that purple guy and was weirdly disappointed to find every charge was mine. Old memes like these are the reason my camera roll needs its own zip code.

Another dig through the vault lands tomorrow afternoon, windbreaker optional, and I promise to show up even if nobody RSVPs. If you need more before then, Monday’s meme dump has plenty of fresh stuff, and the batch for anyone who remembers a landline is packed with vintage memes that still hold up. If a few of these viral tweets made you laugh out loud in a quiet room, pass them along with the share buttons below and pretend you found them first, the way we all did back then.
