Halloween is still five days out and my grocery store has already rolled out a full aisle of Christmas cookies, like the holidays are trying to cut in line. I bought a box anyway, because I have no spine. If you’re new, this meme dump lands every day at noon, and Sunday’s batch is right behind it if you missed the weekend. Here are some funny memes to get Monday over with.

That’s the batch, and the cat posing as a ferocious African lion is the most confident thing I will see all week, my own performance review included. The guy with the Tetris tattoo also committed harder to one idea than I have to anything since college, and I once spent a whole semester convinced I was going to learn the banjo. Hilarious memes like these are the only part of Monday I actually showed up for on time. I am not proud of that, but I am consistent.

A new round of funny pictures lands tomorrow at noon, so you only have to survive one more morning of emails that start with the words just circling back. If you need something sooner, Sunday’s classic memes are still sitting there, and Saturday’s meme dump has a cat guarding a pizza box that I think about more than I should. If any of this got you through the first day of the week, share it with the coworker who sighs louder than you do. They need it more.
