Somewhere around Sunday lunch the weekend quietly starts packing its bags, and I feel it in my chest every single time. I handle it like a grown adult, by pretending Monday is a rumor. If you are new, a fresh batch drops here every day at noon, and yesterday’s meme dump is right there if you missed it. Go ahead and ignore tomorrow with me.

Ridiculously muscular frog held in a hand, the meme dump closer Buff Frog

Never skips chest day.

The buff frog is going to show up in my dreams tonight, and honestly he has earned the spot. I laughed hardest at the dad who went truck shopping and came home loyal to the old truck, because I have also walked out of a store after one confusing touchscreen and called it a principled stand. The funny pictures of a scooter with a built-in noodle bowl have me rethinking my entire commute, and possibly my entire kitchen. My Sunday plan is the same as always: lunch, a nap, and pretending my inbox is a myth.

Monday’s round of hilarious memes lands tomorrow at noon, so the week will at least start with something dumb and a little bit of dignity left. If you want to stay in weekend mode a little longer, yesterday’s classic memes are still up, and last Monday’s batch makes a decent warmup for tomorrow. Share this with whoever is already texting you about work, and gently remind them that it is still Sunday, the grill is still warm, and they should probably go outside for a bit.
