Grandmas did not sign up to be in horror movies. One grandson secretly edited his grandma into a scary movie, shoving the lead around like a bouncer, and her stunned face is the most October thing I have seen. If yesterday’s meme dump was for the nappers, this Sunday batch is for anyone who jumps at their own shadow, fresh at lunch like every other day. Lights on, scroll down.

Inner peace, achieved by refusing all updates.

Fluffy cat sitting on a bar counter after a girlfriend insisted on bringing one along.

Better plus-one than anyone I have ever brought.

Crystal clear. Prehistoric, but clear.

Honestly, that should get you in.

Tweet comparing two photos of an influencer's face, with a reply about Plain Jane.
Newborn lamb smiling in the straw beside its mother, shared online as a baby goat.

Fifteen minutes old and already better at photos than me.

Meme dump comic of a pharaoh let down that his alien builders still use ropes.
Dancing figure with a jack-o-lantern head, captioned my entire personality until November 1st.

October has been cleared from my schedule.

I scrolled past the wizard on the cliff four times before admitting he is my role model, because I would also like to answer every piece of news with a flat no. The cat at the bar is a better plus-one than I have ever been, and the Girl Scout cookie guy has the confidence of a warehouse owner. That is the whole deal with funny memes on a Sunday: low stakes, big snacks, and a sea monster for scale. I also stared at my popcorn bucket after that butter tweet and chose to stay in the dark.

The next batch lands tomorrow at noon, Monday or not, ready or not, with another pile of hilarious memes and funny pictures to hide behind. Until then, yesterday’s classic memes are very good company, and Wednesday’s meme dump still has 25 memes with better resumes than mine. If one of these got a snort out of you, pass it along to the friend who still sleeps with the hallway light on and swears it is for the dog.
