The “Good Deeds Superman vs. Bad Deeds Lex Luthor” meme trend exploded on X™ right after James Gunn’s Superman (2025) hit theaters. One side floods your feed with heroic stills of David Corenswet’s Man of Steel, paired with wholesome captions about saving kittens, rebuilding schools, or delivering groceries to the elderly—pure Superman memes gold. The flip side gleefully champions Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor, showcasing petty, scheming, or downright malicious deeds—classic Lex Luthor memes featuring corporate sabotage, iceberg lettuce theft, or evil corporate boardroom glares.
In this gallery of 13 Good Deeds Superman vs. Bad Deeds Lex Luthor memes, you’ll see the full spectrum of superhero vs. supervillain humor. Picture Superman effortlessly holding up a collapsing bridge while the caption reads, “Volunteered at the food bank today,” followed by Lex Luthor’s smirk under “Stole the food bank’s cash for research (mostly).” Good vs. evil memes have never been so on-the-nose, and yet so endlessly entertaining.
You just scrolled through those 13 memes and felt that uplifting rush—Superman’s cape practically lifting your mood—punctuated by Lex’s sinister flick of the eyebrow that sends a shiver down your spine. You laughed at the one where Superman rescues puppies from a fire (“Indirectly increased global cuteness by 90%”), then winced at Lex’s boardroom tweet meme: “Implemented layoffs to test my new gold-plated foldable cane.”
