Every October, somebody at work becomes a lifelong fan of a baseball team they could not have named in July, and with the World Series about to start, that somebody is me. I own zero hats. This Thursday meme dump is the fresh batch we put out every day at lunch, and yesterday’s batch is still warm if you missed it. Grab your sandwich and pick a side.

Meme dump closer: a sword gets plus three attack while a pool noodle gets fifteen.

The noodle has never lost a pool fight.

My favorite here is the cat measured in fast food, because that is exactly how I would measure a cat, and I am a little insulted it took the internet this long. The bamboo sign and the pool noodle sword are both funny memes that make a fair point if you squint. I still do not know what a bay leaf does, and I have put one in every soup I have made since college, so a few of these hilarious memes hit close to home.

The next meme dump lands tomorrow at noon, right on schedule, which is more than I can say for my new favorite team’s bullpen. I will be the guy in a brand new hat, explaining the infield fly rule to nobody, and getting it wrong. If lunch runs long, yesterday’s classic memes are a solid trip back, and last Friday’s meme dump still has plenty of funny pictures left in it. And if one of these got a laugh out of you, pass it along to the coworker who also discovered baseball this week.
