During Drake’s new FOMO short film, Pinkchyu takes him through an emo makeover and eventually puts him in an oversized gray sweatshirt featuring Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus. The image escaped the video almost immediately, leaving rap fans and Digital Circus fans staring at each other like somebody had accidentally merged two Discord servers.
The makeover appears during Drake’s “Princess” segment with Pinkchyu, who walks him through a mall and into Hot Topic before cycling him through several alternative looks. Drake Pomni Memes Started With One Very Specific Screenshot
The Amazing Digital Circus is already one of those franchises with a hyper-online fanbase, so seeing Drake casually wearing official Pomni merch felt less like celebrity styling and more like somebody had generated a crossover prompt as a joke.
According to Know Your Meme, an X repost of the makeover clip on September 16 drew roughly 9.7 million views in about a day, while later posts specifically highlighting the Pomni sweatshirt racked up millions more.

Nothing is technically wrong.
And yet the combined image has the unmistakable visual energy of your uncle suddenly wearing merch from the YouTube series your younger cousin has been explaining at Thanksgiving.
Nobody Could Decide Which Fanbase Should Be More Embarrassed
One of the funniest reaction branches was mutual discomfort.
Rap fans looked at the sweater.

Why it matters: this meme isn’t really about whether Drake is a secret fan of indie animation. Then the responses got more elaborate.

It is possible we are overthinking this.
