Nobody has ever wanted to be noticed on their first day anywhere. A Pomeranian named Keanu spent his entire first day as an office dog asleep in his bag, and that is my whole Saturday plan. If yesterday’s meme dump got you through Friday, this is the weekend batch, fresh at lunch like every other day. Read it from inside a bag of your own.

Tiny kitten in a suit of armor holding a sword, captioned acting tough after crying.

Armor on, emotions very much not off.

Streaming search for Elmo showing Nightmare on Elm Street results before Elmo appears.
Three photos of a perfectly round bird in a meme dump favorite captioned I have a gift.

That's not a bird. That's a dinner roll with opinions.

Text exchange where a boss demands reasons to work from home, then ignores them.
Wine glass filled to the brim with cinnamon whisky beside the bottle on a counter.

That's not a pour. That's a cry for help.

A meme dump classic: towering pile of pizza boxes and cans balanced on an overflowing trash can.
Plain text post that says chilling at about 96 thoughts per minute.

Rock hyrax lying in the dirt in this meme dump, telling you to stop scrolling and come sit.
Red cooler packed with pickle spears, captioned I brought SPF: several pickles for myself.

Best beach bag I've ever seen.

Somewhere in there is a bird shaped like a dinner roll, and I have looked at it more times this week than at my bank account. That is the whole appeal of funny memes on a weekend: nothing is due, nobody is emailing, and a man can build a trash tower alone in his apartment and call it a game with his roommates. I respect him more than I should. I also own four streaming services and have threatened to cancel all of them, so the pirate Wario hit closer to home than I would like.

The next batch lands tomorrow at noon, same as always, with a fresh pile of funny pictures, and I will be here eating lunch over my keyboard like a raccoon. If you need more before then, yesterday’s classic memes are still sitting there, and Tuesday’s meme dump has another 24 hilarious memes for the bag you are currently living in. If any of these made you snort somewhere quiet, send it to the one friend who would have snorted louder.
