25 Real Life Plot Holes That Don’t Make Sense

Real life plot holes

I used to wonder about mirrors. You can’t buy a new mirror. As soon as they make it, it’s used. It’s looking at the guy who made it. That mirror has seen things, man. It’s used goods immediately. That is a plot hole. Whoever wrote the script for reality got lazy on that one. They just hoped we wouldn’t notice. But we noticed.

There are so many of these real life plot holes if you just stop and look. Like, how do they get the cars into the mall? Do they build the mall around the car? Does the car shrink? I have never seen a car drive into a mall. It just appears there. It is a glitch. And lying. Lying is a cheat code. You just say something with confidence and people believe you. That is a bug in the programming. I feel like we are all just NPCs in a game that is still in beta testing and the developers are on a lunch break.

Sometimes reality just does not add up. We have collected the most mind-bending observations and questions that point out the logical inconsistencies of our existence. From philosophy to logistics, these thoughts will make you question the fabric of the universe, or at least how shopping malls work.

Reddit comment stating that it is impossible to buy a new mirror, only used ones.
Reddit user questioning the sudden transition from unconscious flesh to a conscious human being during development.
Reddit user asking the logistical question of how display cars are moved into shopping mall centers.
Reddit user expressing frustration that confidently lying seems to work effectively most of the time.
Reddit user asking existential questions about what existed before the Big Bang and what lies beyond nothingness.
Reddit user complaining that sleep feels like skipping a video game cutscene instead of a lucid experience.
Reddit user realizing they have never witnessed their neighbors carrying grocery bags into their house.
Reddit comment explaining the mathematical coincidence of Sun and Moon distances that allows for solar eclipses.
Reddit user noting that many famous historical figures survived impossible odds as if they had plot armor.
Reddit user theorizing that the existence of the Planck Unit proves the universe has a pixel resolution and frame rate.

These are the kinds of thoughts that keep you up at 3 AM staring at the ceiling fan. The idea that we transition from “meat” to “person” is heavy, man. But then you realize that confidence is just a magic spell for lying, and it balances out. Reality is weird, and pointing out the flaws is the only way to stay sane.

If your brain isn’t completely fried yet, you can keep the existential dread going. We recommend checking out shower thoughts, philosophy memes, and glitch in the matrix stories for more deep thinking.
