what's the funniest thing someone's ever gotten mad at you for on here. i think mine is when somebody told me i was rich and privileged for saying back service corridors at malls are scary at night when i was in the service corridor bc i worked there
I have to volunteer @SweatieAngle here, she called kpop boys from that one band they all love pretty and she was swarmed by thousands of enraged teen girls telling her to kword herself.
Definitely the person who got mad at me for "Using Angela Lansbury's death to evangelize" (I was live tweeting Bedknobs and Broomsticks the day she passed, and ended the thread saying "Witches have an obligation to fight fascism")
I once thought it was the shock wave, searing heat, and massive radiation that would kill me in a nuclear blast. I now know that it would be my own attitude.
Someone accused me of elitism for, uh, this. Foodie blogs are always like "ask your fishmonger for salmon collars" or whatever, like yeah I'II just do that as soon as I'm done talking to my chimney sweep
I once said that Wawa was gas station food and the city of Philadelphia had a meltdown I'm not defending sandwiches. I'm defending a culture. When you fire verbal jabs at a staple of an entire region, you insult the culture of that region. If you can't understand that, then there is no point continuing except to practice hurling insults. That's not my goal here.
1 dealt with weirdos for days that were super mad at me when I said this didn't look realistic and looked out of place in a live action film.
A couple people were absolutely irate bc I said that one of my pet peeves as a children's therapist is that I hear the word Kiddos all the time, & that if people thought it was an acceptable word then they should have to call adults Adultos.
Someone got mad at me for posting this picture of a basal cell skin cancer and leaving it as my pinned tweet because it was obscene and kids might see it.
That time I accidentally called a shark the wrong name and then hundreds of marine biologists called me out and told me that unless I deleted the tweet I was emboldening the antivax movement by encouraging misinformation. Then Snopes wrote a whole fact check article about it.
1 said most people's cats jump on the kitchen counters when no one is watching because cats are ungovernable and don't care if they're not allowed up there. I got angry replies for months from people insisting their cats would never.
there are people in the replies to this that are extremely mad i said cooking in a restaurant is harder than working in an office, as someone who's done both
one time I tweeted "aloo chat is Hindi for a savory potato snack but in French it means Hello Kitty" and a white British person got very mad at me
The earth is the largest rock that any of us will ever stand on. So I've never understood rock climbers. By standing on the earth, you have stood on the biggest rock. You are done. You have peaked. You don't have to keep climbin...
people got mad at me for pointing out that "comrade" is not a Russian word
Some lady went OFF on me for having my Christmas tree up in November, saying I'm "insensitive for not letting people mourn Halloween". Then she blocked me.
Someone blocked me because they said that I make life seem all rainbows and fairytales and give false hope, because my tweets were always positive. I mean, what a miserable person that was.
